When contacting the hotel, please state that you will be attending the Caribbean Veterinary Medical Association Conference.

We have reserved – at specially negotiated conference rates – a block of rooms at the Sunset Jamaica Grande where the conference will take place. The number of rooms and in particular the number of single rooms is limited. Please note that rooms will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis. Reservations after the early registration deadline cannot be guaranteed and, if available, may be at a higher price. Please make your reservations as soon as possible.

Group Room Rates (rates are all-inclusive)

Single Occupancy: US$170.00 per room per night
Double Occupancy: US$210.00 per room per night
Triple Occupancy: US$290.00 per room, per night
One Bedroom Suite: US$350.00 per night (single) US$400.00 per night (double)
Children’s Policy: US$45.00 per child (4-12 years sharing with adults)

Student Rates (Must present valid student ID)
Double Occupancy: US$190.00 per room per night
Triple Occupancy: US$270.00 per room, per night

CANCELLATION POLICIES:

Initial reservation deposit is not refundable if cancelled within 60 days of arrival. Full payment must be made 30 days before arrival.

You will be charged for the entire reserved stay unless you change or cancel your reservation within the requirements of the hotel’s cancellation policy.

You will be charged for the entire reserved stay if you check out prior to the reserved departure date.

OTHER COSTS:

  • Day pass- US$60.00 per person (8:00am-5:30pm)
  • Evening Pass- US$80:00 per person (6:00pm-2:00am)
  • Conference Pass- US$120:00 per person (8:00am-2:00am)
  • Exhibitor Pass cost US$45.00 per exhibitor per day for coffee and tea only

The above costs apply to persons not staying at the Sunset Jamaica Grande, but who are participating in the Conference. Sunset Jamaica Grande, like all other “all-inclusive” hotels, charges these fees as once you enter you are free to eat, drink and do anything you want. We therefore strongly recommend that attendees plan to stay at the conference hotel as the fees to enter the hotel negate any savings you could make by staying elsewhere.
