Workshops
The feature workshop will concern Marine Mammal Strandings which are taking place with increasing frequency all over the world. The workshop will provide responders with the experience of expanding their knowledge about strandings including examining carcasses, species identification, safety issues, what key information to record, what samples are important to collect and the correct protocols to follow. This workshop will provide a special opportunity for interested veterinarians from Jamaica and the wider Caribbean who have much less opportunity for this kind of exposure than those based in North America.
